Roon Arc Streaming To Endpoints

I am running Roon Server 2.0 (build 1455) in my Mac Pro (Sonoma 14.6.1).
Installed Roon Arc (1.2.56 build 295) on my iphone (ios 17.6.1).

I have several Sonos Endpoints configured (via Sonos Streaming) that work well using the Mac Desktop Roon client. However, I can’t seem to find a way to stream music to these zones via the Roon Arc app, other than through Airplay in the ‘Now Playing’ Screen.

Please advise on setup / navigation to stream from Roon Arc IOS app to my Roon endpoints.

Thanks in advance!

Roon ARC is really meant for “ON the Go” or out of the house use.
Try using the “Roon” app for in the house control of your server.

Thanks for the reply, bearFNF.

Installed Roon app - works great.
Newbie mistake; thought the earlier Roon stand-alone IOS apps were deprecated,
with Roon Arc taking over all mobile functionality.

There are feature requests to merge RoonARC as well as enabling the possibility for ARC to stream to RAAT and other compatible endpoints on the current network.
Double apps is an overhead and may be double trouble in the end.

Thanks for the reply. Agreed that a unified IOS app would be more intuitive, more in line with Sonos and other products in the space. This is a minor issue IMHO, because both apps appear to do their job very well.
My only issue with the Arc app was that my Verizon ISP router needed port forwarding to be refreshed periodically; I resolved this by adding a cron script that resets Roon Arc every 5 minutes.
