Describe the issue

Since many years a user of Roon. When ARC was introduced I encountered some problems but after a while it was working OK. Now since a couple of weeks I don't have access to ARC anymore. In the App of my Nucleus Plus I am told ARC should be OK but I can't have acces. Now every time I try to start ARC the screen is telling ne it is the first time and ARC needs to synchronise with Roon Server.

Describe your network setup

Living in the Netherlands, Modem bij Ziggo Provider and in Bridge mode with a Mesh network of Netgear Orbi. From here to a Buffalo Switch to the living room. Here a Melco S100 Audiophile Switch and from there to a Nucleus Plus.

Have you tried to delete the Arc app and reinstall?
Unfortunately you would lose any downloads if you try this.

Hello @Jeff_S

Please try the following steps to resolve the ARC issue:

  1. Delete the ARC app from your device. Note that this will remove any downloaded content in ARC.
  2. Reconnect your device to the same Wi-Fi network where your Roon Server (Nucleus Plus) is running.
  3. Reinstall ARC and go through the login process from scratch, allowing it to synchronize with your Roon Server.
This fresh setup usually resolves connectivity and synchronization problems with ARC.

Hi @Jeff_S,

ARC usually re-authenticates the session token on a rolling basis every hour. However, if the app hasn’t seen RoonServer in over two weeks, the session will expire, requiring you to reinstall the app.

The team is working on a long-term solution to this inconvenience, which we recognize causes impediments to many ARC users. Thanks for your ongoing patience as we work to iron out these inconsistencies with the app over time.
