Roon ARC Unable to Connect to Server Despite Correct Port Forwarding Setup (ref#PGNUAV)

What’s happening?

· I'm having trouble with Roon ARC

What best describes your issue with ARC

· I can't log into ARC but I can log into Roon

Describe the issue

Roon ARC (on android and ipad) says 'can't connect to your server'. My router is set up for port forwarding, and when I check the ARC settings on the roon app on the ipad, it says that that ARC is ready and 'can securely access your Roon server'. The listening port corresponds to the port forwarding on the router.

Describe your network setup

Virgin super hub 5, connected via English Electric 8 network switch. Roon core on audiostore server running sonic orbiter.

That message at the bottom leaves me wondering…did you have a separate server configuration associated with your login a year or more ago…one that is no longer in commission?

It is the same server. The only possible change in the configuration is the replacement from a virgin superhub 4 to a superhub 5

Hi @s.shamdasani,

In the screenshot, you appear to be connected via WiFi. If you’re unable to access RoonServer via ARC on your home network, then I’d try reinstalling the app.

I could not connect to Roon ARC yesterday. What finally solved it was a reboot of my Roon Nucleus server. I also deleted and reinstalled Roon ARC on my iPhone.
