}> ARC tab?

it was working great before the last 2 roon updates about 3 weeks ago

In addition, I have noticed that when I reboot the xfinity gateway, Roon Arc will briefly work and then state that there is a poor connection.

I just received a new xfinity modem
Arc is still not working and the message is different:

{
“ipv4_connectivity”: {“status”:“NetworkError”,“status_code”:504,“error”:“error: Error: ETIMEDOUT, response code: undefined, body: undefined connected? undefined”},
“external_ip”: {“actual_external_ip”:“98.ddd.eee.fff”,“actual_external_ipv6”:“null”,“router_external_ip”:“null”},

}

I Now appear to be OK after a 1/2 day on the line w/ xfinity.

Hi @John_Leeper,

Thank you for your report and for your patience. Glancing at automated diagnostics from your account, it appears ARC has successfully initiated playback using a cellular connection; however, we’ll leave this thread open for a few days until you can confirm that remains the case.

Xfinity’s modem has delicate UPnP and port forwarding settings that will often reset or default if you 1) unplug the coax connection or 2) make any changes to your service tier.

I’m familiar with their eccentricities, as are many other support team members, so please post again if you encounter any issues moving forward. You’ll need to keep the modem bridged to your other routers, as I’m sure you’ve done.
