ROON Arc with no connection!

I think you should disable Independant Port Sharing because you don not want to use uPnP (I have it disabled).
And I see two entries for your MacBook Pro with different IP-addresses but you have both forwarding to the same port. I think that doesn’t work. You should make the FritzBox give a static IP-address to your MacBook and set the port sharing for that entry here. And remove the other one.

To set the static IP-address:

  1. Go to Home Network → Mesh Overview (translated from my Dutch menu)
  2. Scroll down the page to the list of connected devices
  3. Find the entry of your MacBook and click on the button to edit
  4. Scroll down on the opened Details page to IPv4 address
  5. Check the checkbox below the address to always use this address

Delete the port sharing rule for the IP-address that the MacBook doesn’t use.

I hope this solves it.

Thanks.

I’ve noticed that by putting Ethernet and Wi-Fi connection as well to the Permit Access Roon Arc gains access to my Roon Core.
I’vetried to erase the Macbook WiFi and with Ethernet alone I was getting the same old error message Roon Arc is not connected to your Roon Core…. So now I’m using both and it seems to work. :pray:t3:

I discovered that I’ve had Music Live Diagnosis turned ON all of the time.
I turned it OFF and songlists playlists are now playing smooth really like never before in my Roon. :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you.
