Roon arc won’t split screen with waze

I tried it and had the same problem. Split screen switches to Google Maps. Obviously an Apple CarPlay issue.

It’s with Apple CarPlay in my wife’s Honda Odyssey. There is an ICON in lower left corner of the screen that switches from full screen to split screen. But, If I’m using WAZE and Roon ARC, it switches to Google Maps and Roon ARC. I prefer Google Maps anyway.
