Die Bibliothek in Roon hat sich bis zur letzten Version ständig aktualisiert. Mit dem neuen Update 903 muss man Roon neu starten. Erst dann aktualisiert sich die Bibo.

The library in Roon kept updating until the last version. With the new update 903 you have to restart Roon. Only then is the bibo updated.

Is your library made up of local files, streaming service favourites or both?

Which streaming service do you use, if any?

What sort of core do you have and where do you store your local library?

That will help folk to help you.

Meine Bibliothek besteht nur aus lokalen Dateien. Bis zur Version 898 hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Nach Update 903 aktualisiert sich die Bibliothek erst nach Roon Neustart. Ich verwende Roon-Core auf einem Windows PC. Meine Daten liegen auf NAS (openmediavault) und (NAS4free).

There have been similar reported issues when adding new albums to network shares. Instead of restarting try a rescan of the device

You don’t need to re-add the folder every time you add new music. Leave the original folder in place and Roon will recognize that it has new music. Sometimes, this can be a problem if the folder is on a NAS. In that case, simply do a re-scan from this dropdown menu - [image]

If this works as well as restarting then you know that it’s the notification between NAS and core that’s broken.

Hello Carsten.
Co to “Settings-Storage”
Klick on the three dot item next to your music folder and choose “Edit”.
At the last option “Aujtomatic rescan interval” you can choose at what interval Roon wil scan your folder.
I suppose it is now set to “Only on startup”.

And yes, Killdozer is right. Roon has trouble with monitoring folders on a NAS.

Ja, das scheint das Problem zu sein. Nach Restart openmediavault, funktioniert es besser. Mal sehen wie lange. Habe auch Windows Firewall angepasst. Vielen Dank allen.
