Roon blocking explicit content access on Tidal (ref#GWBSO2)

Roon is blocking access to explicit content, how do I turn that off so I can hear the explocit music content on tidal

Two things to check.

Edit the profile (Settings → Profiles), and check that BIRTHDATE results in an age greater than 18 years.

Go to Roon Settings → General, and scroll to the bottom of the options. Make sure Prefer edited versions is set to No.

We haven’t seen a response here, but @mjw’s recommended steps above resolve the vast majority of reports matching the one you submitted here.

Please try double-checking the birthdate in your Tidal account and then ensuring edited version perference is off within Roon (Settings → General).

We’re going to mark @mjw s suggestion as the solution tentatively, but this thread will remain open for another day or two in case you require further assistance.
