With a modest NUC (eg 7i3 or i5) does Bridge handle DSD64 or 24/192 without fan coming on? What about with multichannel via HDMI?
Bridge uses virtually no resources. The heavy lifting should all be done at the core. So the fan should not come on or not speed up when in use depending on your bios settings.
you may use a fanless mini pc for roon bridge.
