What sounds better? The Raspi with Ropieee and USB Out to the DAC or a cheap Streamer like WiiM Ultra with Digital Out to the DAC?
As long as the streamers are well implemented (and I think both of those are), and the DACs inputs are good I think you’ll just hear the DAC.

As pointed out in your other thread, a streamer should not affect how music sounds. If you do not want to build a Raspberry Pi-based solution, choose a streamer that implements a USB digital output.
