Describe the issue

Roon Build 1480 Muse Presets in constant save state since updating, it thinks I have changed settings I have not. Resaving does not change this behaviour. When I switch presets it says I will lose changes and same happens for the next preset. This is regressive behavour. Please look to fix this asap.

Unifi Router/switches/APS not that it matter here

Yes, for me the same. Adding OPRA as a new point, makes a change in the previous presets. So you’ve save the preset again and the problem is solved.

Yeah its a pain in the neck to alter all of my presets, Why add it to all existing ones? This goes against them being presets.

Sure, I’m using also over 50 presets and had to resave them, but I don’t think, that there will come immediately a bugfix and so the manually resaving will now the only practical solution.

Oh I doubt there will be.

Same problem here.

I see, that the problem/bug is more affecting, then expected.
If opra is used once in setting one headphone, and you have another filter in use, you can’t save it as a preset.
Only completely removing (deactivating is not enough) opra lets you save the settings.
Takes me now a hour clicking around

Not in my case. Done that - the problem is still there:

Constantly the “*” that the settings need to saved again. The problem returns and returns.

Never had that before with the “normal” EQ

Mmh, for me it’s working:

after removing opra from the filter section…

If Roon (on desktop) it closed and startet again the problem comes again:

and after reboot the OPRA setting is gone:

+1 on this problem. Presets needing to be saved when no alteration has been made, and then needing to be saved again, and again etc.

Also +1 on the whole thing (OPRA) disappearing on a reboot. It really is a mess up. Good idea but terrible implementation, at least for those of us who reboot regularly.

Some times disappearing when the desktop (Windows 11) app has been re-startet. If you are lucky the settings are there, but only sometimes.

THX @benjamin

After first reboot this morning - again “*” and “apply changes”

Did that.

The second reboot the EQ settings where gone agian.

PS: ROCK latest version

Only for interest:
Do you’ve in the filters showing the headphone eq or not?

Sorry, I don’t understand your Q.

WHEN it works it looks like this:

Torben

So you answered my question with your screenshot.
You’re using the headphone eq together with upsampling and saved this as a preset.

I’m using for headphones my own convolver filters (+upsampling) and had also problems in saving the presets.
After completely removing the headphone eq (only disabling was not enough) from the filter section, the problem with saving the presets disappeared.

Did not fix the problem
