Roon can;'t find artist yet is #1 hit on Tidal

Description Of Issue

I search for Brazilian artist “Lagum” on Roon and I can’t find them, even if I wrap the search term in double quotes. Yet on Tidal a simple search for the same term shows up as the first result. For me to play songs from that band I have to first go into Tidal, then add it to a playlist just so I can go back to Roon, access the playlist and play the song from there. Am I doing something wrong or is Roon’s fuzzy search in need of some TLC?

I see that we do have Lagum in our search index, however, it’s getting pushed down at the moment. You’re right that the fuzzy search indeed needs some love and you’re not doing anything wrong.

We will look into it. In the meanwhile, I can propose a workaround. Try to search for a specific song or album combined with Lagum, f.e.
