Roon cannot find my Roon Server on startup (ref#2BQGE7)

Did you configure the Roon Server process to star when Windows starts? See the guide below how and where to do this on Windows.

Yes, the Roon Server is configured to start when windows starts.

And? Is he running (the symbol in the notification area of the task bar is there)? If not, can you manually start the server from its shortcut on the desktop? In any case, checking the firewall exceptions might be a good troubleshooting step too:

If Roon Server refuses to start then having a look at your Windows event log may reveal something and there are also the Roon Server logs (which may not contain anything useful though, if the Roon Server process ends prematurely).

I checked the firewall settings, and there were no detectable changes or updates. Roon appears to have started to use a sizable amount of resources. I added more RAM.

Thanks for writing in to ask us about this issue. Can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs from your remote with the issue to our File Uploader? Once we have that we can begin to troubleshoot.
