How can we help?

· I'm having trouble adding music to my library

Describe the issue

i have bought a Lumin T3 and have stored my audio files on a USB drive scan disk called Paul. My Roon server is on a MacBook Air. The USB stick on my MacBook is ok for the Roon directory but when I put the usb on the Lumin Roon cannot find it anymore.

Describe your network setup

The Lumin is on 192.168.2.15 and I did the following: //192.168.2.15/PAUL and smb://192.168.2.15/PAUL but nothing worked.

Does the Lumin support SMB file sharing and did you enable it on the Lumin so that it shares the disk under the name PAUL?

I don’t know I cannot find it in the manual.

I have also tried \192.168.2.15\PAUL but still no result.

Are you sure that this works? Is it advertised as being an SMB server?

Lumin streamers (other than L2 library, which is not a streamer) do NOT support SMB.

Please connect the USB drive to your Roon Server computer, i.e. Mac.

To use the T3 for Roon playback, please enable Roon Ready in Lumin app. In Roon settings → Audio, scroll down to Roon Ready section, find T3, enable it and assign it a zone name.
