Hi @Ross_Frank,
Thank you for your patience in awaiting a response here and we’re sorry for the delay.
We’ve pulled RoonServer logs to take a closer look. Logs show the server struggling to reach both the network and upstream services due to repeating network reachability events. From Roon’s perspective, this network is going up and down, even if your network is obviously stable outside of Roon.
04/05 12:20:47 Trace: [push2] exception thrown. restarting connection (The operation was canceled.)
04/05 12:20:47 Debug: [tidal] network reachability changed. refreshing token
04/05 12:20:47 Debug: [kkbox] network reachability changed. refreshing token
Here’s another example:
03/31 20:45:19 Warn: [easyhttp] [52] GET https://api.roonlabs.net/devicedb/1/images/78de2810a0f07340f2c163090fa5ae55a5d2d18e.svg web exception without response: socketmsg (SocketError): The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception. The SSL connection could not be established, see inner exception.
Sometimes, the session terminates between a WiFi Remote/Zone and the server:
04/06 13:27:32 Trace: [raat_ll/client] [iPhone] OnDisconnected: BeginRead read count is 0, socketerror is: Success
04/06 13:27:32 Warn: [remoting/remotingprotocolv2] [remotingprotocol] read 0 bytes, error code: Success
The underlying problem here is a conflicting network configuration, but it could have multiple causes.
Try looking for settings like Client Isolation or AP Isolation in the router settings and disabling them. If you see any multicast forwarding options, try toggling them on.
If possible, just as a test, try hardwiring both the server and the MicroRendu to the main router.
We’ll watch for your reply.
Thank you!
