Hello,
I notice that roon plays some tracks via Tidal although I have the file locally (with the same quality). If I have several tracks of an album in a playlist, individual tracks of the album are played from the local file, but others are played via Tidal. How does this happen?

In current Roon all the sources are distinct. So I would assume that Roon plays exactly what you put into the playlist. If a track in the playlist is from Tidal direct this would be played, if one is a Tidal track you added to your library then that one is played and if you have a track from a local file added to your playlist then that is used. Do you have any evidence that this is not what is happening in your case?

Hello,
ok, i see roon import the albums from my Tidal library but also i have them local. I don’t create the playlist, i just say “play this artist from my library” so roon take songs from Tidal version and local version. Is there no way to say roon to prefer the local version of an album if it is exact same quality ?
There are no short to use commands to tune the source. You can disable your streaming accounts temporarily if you’re not interested in online content for your current listening session and you’re the only affected user. See:
What else you can influence, where it works and where not:
No, there is no option in Roon to have it prefer own Library over Tidal/Qobuz when playing Radio/Daily Mixes/Artists etc. From what i have experienced it seems to be random what is chosen. I really think that this is a missing feature/option in Roon. It would be nice to have the option to add a priority order 1-2-3 between Library/Qobuz/Tidal. Today You can decide preference of streaming service between Qobuz and Tidal if You have both.
