ROON choosing TIDAL music files

Since subscribing to TIDAL I now have thousands of duplicate Albums. I was wondering if ROON can choose the TIDAL version of an album when I choose one. At the moment I am choosing an album, clicking on the “version” and selecting the TIDAL version, then marking it as the “priority” album.

Have you made any edits to this content in Roon?

Is this content from local files, TIDAL, or Qobuz?

Thank you for reaching out to us about this. I apologize for the delay in responding. I had hoped to get back to you sooner.

I’m sorry to say that there’s not a way to automate this action in Roon.

The quickest means for doing it is probably to select your duplicate albums on your albums page
Then click the ellipsis button>edit>Merge.
Then you can select the version you want to give priority.
Once you get in the flow of things it could go a bit more quickly.
