Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

· Roon won’t start up at all

Tell us what's going on

· Roon client app 2.67.1661 on windows 11 wont start. Roon nucleus and IOS apps are fine, but client app on Windows will no longer start after most recent Roon update.

I have used Roon client app on this PC for several years with no issues. I uninstalled and re-installed 2.67.1661 and it do NOT solve the problem. The app begins to start and then hangs without full loading the UI. Just the window border shows.

Hi @Stephen_Kohlmeyer,

For due diligence, please double-check that the update hasn’t removed Roon.exe from the Microsoft Defender firewall safelist. Sometimes, the OS will treat Roon updates as entirely new executables.

We see two PCs listed in diagnostics for your account. Do you have the GUI currently installed on both? If so, which is the machine with which you’re having the issue with the client app?

I apologize for not trying a reboot before posting. But after noticing a problem with a different app - I rebooted and now Roon works perfectly. Thanks for your help!
