Description of Issue

New install of Roon player / client crashes on Apple Mac 24" M1. Gives spinning beachball on startup. Doesn’t load main screen (eg abum / artist view)

Roon works fine on all other devices in household, including older Macs.

Ok, actually fixed my issue. Think it arose because I used “migrate” to move Roon from an old Mac to the new M1 Mac. Presumably there were some config files that were clashing.

A simple uninstall didn’t work (doesn’t remove all files, just the application), so I used ‘CleanMyMac’ to properly remove all the files associated with Roon, and then I did a new install.

Now works.

Yes you cannot use time machine it migrate or clone to move Roon.
