Hello @Maxime_Ealet ,

Thanks for letting us know of the behavior. I’ve enabled diagnostics for your account. Can you please note the exact local time + date when you next experience a crash? We’ll look over the logging for clues after.

Sure I’ll do. I actually had a slient closing a few min after while listening to local music so behavior is strange on my side. I’ve reinstalled the roon app a few times after cleaning using command line tools with no luck

Hello @Maxime_Ealet,

Thanks for the update.

Since the behavior also occurred during local playback, the next occurrence will be especially important for us to review. Please let us know the exact local date and time of the next silent exit so we can correlate it with diagnostics.

Additionally, please confirm:

  • whether you see any related entries in macOS Console → Crash Reports for Roon around the time of the exit

Once we have the precise timestamp, we’ll take a closer look.

hi it just happened between 5-5h30 pm (UTC+1) - 20/01/2026 (20 january 2026). I don’t see anythin in the console from roon.

Hi @Maxime_Ealet,

Thank you - we’ve pinpointed the event in diagnostics in the server logs. We’re so far unable to reach the remote itself to request logs that would show what’s happening on the GUI at the same timestamp.

At your convenience, can you please use the directions found here and send over a set of Roon Remote logs to our File Uploader?

Specifically, we’re looking for the Logs folder contained within the Roon folder, not RoonServer itself. Make sure you take this step on the remote with which you experience the crash.

Thank you!

Once logs have been uploaded, please let us know so that we can check the server for your files, thanks!
