Roon client won't auto update on Mac

Describe your network setup

Ethernet connection

I have rebooted Mac and restarted Roon Server (NUC - Rock)

Hi @zenyatta80,

Whilst waiting for Roon support team to follow up, you could try rebooting your router, wait for it to re-establish a connection to the ISP and then reboot the Roon devices.

This has helped others, but admittedly not all, hope it works for you.

Sometimes this happens. Simply go to the Roon website, download the latest version, and update using that.

Hello @zenyatta80,

Thank you for reaching out to Roon Support.

I’ve enabled diagnostics on your account, but for some reason, your Mac device is not appearing in the diagnostic data. This may indicate that something is preventing your device from accessing Roon’s servers.

As mentioned by @DDPS, you can try manually downloading the update. Additionally, please check the following on your Mac:

  • Firewall settings
  • Network security configurations
  • DNS settings
  • Any other network-related components that might interfere with Roon’s connectivity

Let us know if the issue persists after reviewing these settings.
