Roon clients connect but no content loads; server reboot temporarily fixes (ref#9A5JJS)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

· Roon won’t start up at all

Tell us what's going on

· Roon client on various end points (laptop, desktop and mobile) start and connect to core but even waiting more than 10mintues doesn't bring any content. The logo is spinning or whatever and it shows the album/track counts correctly but there is no playable content loaded. Rebooting the server fixes this (albeit it's still slow), but it takes only a few hours to get stuck in this doom loop situation again. There is an Add music to the library that is stuck at identifying some tracks and doesn't make progress so maybe it's blocked by that.

Tell us about your home network

· my core is connected by ethernet to my netgear nighthawk wifi router, broadband router is xfinity. There is no vpn. I don't think this is a network issue. There hasn't been any changes to my network and things used to work until a few days ago

this was solved by logging out of qobuz, restarting roon server and logging back in. All steps were necessary.

Hi @phi4,

Glad to hear this is resolved. Logging out of Qobuz, restarting Roon Server, and then logging back in did the trick, and all three steps were needed. If it comes back in the future, please let us know. Enjoy the music, and we’ll go ahead and close this one out.
