Roon clients unable to use search and Tidal login failing on 18th Nov (ref#18HEOH)

All my Roon clients are suddenly (18th Nov 13:16 GMT) unable to use search. I just receive an error saying "Can't connect to Roon search". I'm also unable to access albums from Tidal (and it's failing to login).

I've tried restarting the Roon server and logging out and logging back into Tidal.

Mac Mini M1 for Roon Core connected via WiFi (Deco mesh).

It may be due to Cloudflare being down.

Looks like it! It’s pretty frustrating that that can take down search of local files. That means the software is borderline inoperable without access to Roon’s servers.

This all seems to be working again now that Cloudflare is up, but I had to restart my Roon server to get it working. There’s a discussion about the problem with the Cloudflare dependency for search over here.

Looks like it! It’s pretty frustrating that that can take down search of local files.

Only the global search should have been down. The local text filter should have worked.

Roon search dependent on Cloudflare?

There are two magnifying glass icons, each with a text entry field next to it. (Not ideal that they are the same icon). The one in the top right in corner of the Roon window is the global search. There is another one further down on the right - it says „Filter“ in the text entry field if you haven’t yet clicked into it. This is the local dumb filter.
