this problem has surfaced recently, and is consistent across all new downloads.
here is an example: on my roon server i can see that an album contains four physical tracks. but in the roon client, i see only three tracks.
i’ve tried re-scanning the album, re-identifying it, etc. to no avail.
this is the latest version of roon. i don’t know how to find the version number.
here are screen-shots of the physical data as it exists on the server, and what the roon client is reporting.
as you can see, track 1-07 (scherzo allegro molto - trio) is physically present but not reported or playable.
i want to emphasize that i’m seeing this on every album i’ve added to the server over the last week.

Are there IO errors reported in the Library->skipped files in settings?

thanks! yes that is indeed the case. i downloaded these, and others which are displaying similar error conditions, from qobuz.

I don’t think they are legit errors. Move the folder out of your music folder clean the library and then move it back in.
See if all tracks get imported properly.
tried that - didn’t work. what DID work was re-downloading the affected albums in FLAC format rather than ALAC, which has hitherto been my default format.
fortunately, the library/skipped files list shows only the few albums from the last few days.
