Recently my Roon has been hanging constantly. I have been receiving many "Waiting for your Roon Server" messages following by "Uh Oh something's not right." Sometimes the entire screen will be black while the Roon icon ripples for a while. The software seems to also frequently scan my entire library.

This may already be the source of your issue.

From Roon Server on NAS:
We strongly recommend 4GB of RAM and an SSD for the Roon databases.

Disclaimer: From another Roon (on NAS) user.

Blackjack is correct here, your running out of resources and Roon application is crashing most likely. You need 4 gigs minimum with a large library 8 or more.

Also the CPU is a bit of a potato for Such a library + running the NAS

Thanks everyone; will start with a RAM upgrade and see if that helps.
