Nucleus Titan, with 2 USB drives with music

Hi @U_M1,

Thank you for reaching out.

Roon periodically re-indexes your music storage locations as part of its normal operation — this ensures that any changes (new, moved, or removed files) are reflected accurately in your library.

Could you please clarify what specifically concerns you about this behavior? Are you noticing performance issues or unexpected frequency in re-indexing?
Your clarification will help us better understand what you’re experiencing.

It really annoys me because it stops playback of the music. I know best when I put something new on my disks and I want to manually start the search. This automatic search disrupting my listening should be stopped. Why not include a manual search? It was always a problem with the old Nucleus but I hoped that with the Nucleus Titan it would not be an issue. I was wrong. Please let the user decide when to search the disks.

Hi @U_M1,

Thanks for the additional information! Have you tested out selecting a different analysis interval? You can edit this by clicking the three dots next to your watched folder > edit:

Let me know if this helps at all!

Exactly what I am looking for. I don’t see this option in my Android App

Hi, you should be able to scroll down that page to view further options.

Nothing to scroll…
In what menus and submenues are you?

Hi @U_M1,

This feature isn’t currently available via the mobile app - you’ll need to access device settings from a computer running Roon if at all possible.

Let me know if you’re able to do so, and if it changes any of your behavior!
