I work in tech support for Abt Electronics and we are a Roon and Control4 dealer. We have a customer having trouble with the Roon Control4 driver not working with transport controls, all other functions work and transport controls work in all other sources.

Describe your network setup

Customer has a Ubiquiti network with a UDM Pro Max, a USW Pro Max 48 PoE switch, and 5 U7 Pro XG access points

We have a customer having trouble with the Roon Control4 driver not working with transport controls, all other functions work and transport controls work in all other sources.

I’d first confirm that your client is running the latest versions of Roon and Roon Server.

In Roon → Settings → Extensions, confirm that the Control4 driver/extension:

• Appears as “Enabled”
• Is associated with the correct zones/endpoints If it’s listed but not active, try disabling and re-enabling it.

When you follow up on that email, include the email address tied to your issue client as well as the results of the above.
