Description of Issue -

What is the exact port forwarding error message you see in the Roon Settings → ARC tab?

The Roon core (version Roon ARC version 1.0.022) is not listening on port 55000 as documented in the ARC port forwarding FAQ. This makes it hard to set up port forwarding.

Below is the netstat information from the Roon core server.

servidor:/var/roon/RoonServer/Settings $ sudo netstat -n -l -t -p -4 | egrep -i 'roon|raat|arc|55000'
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:9330 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 3870/RoonAppliance

As you can readily see, the none of the Roon processes are listening on port 55000 as documented - and neither is anyone else. I haven’t changed the configuration from the default. I can’t set up the port forwarding rules without knowing which port I should forward. Apparently ARC Android client knows what port it is, but I can get ARC to tell me. There doesn’t appear to be a place in the configuration menu on my Android ARC app which tells me.

On the Core system, go to Settings → Roon ARC and see what port Roon Arc is using on your system. It may not be 55000…

This is Linux, there is no GUI for Linux.

Then use a regular remote instead of ARC to access your Roon Core and settings.

The point is to go to the Roon server Settings → Roon ARC and see what port Roon Arc is using on your system. You can do that using a Roon Remote. You cannot do that using the ARC app.
