What’s happening?

· I'm having trouble connecting to Roon

This morning roon conect to my roon core but not apers any music , my music folder are in my pc is my roon folder and back up, and dont apare my ps audio direct sream dac y my music player for my roon library, my core are connect but dont have music and i connect tidal for service with roon and apear 0 music artist

Hi @Alfredo_Diaz,

Thank you for your post. Have you made any changes to your network or network settings recently? I’d first verify that you can access your network storage location in a file browser from a computer.

A few questions should help illuminate the problem:

  1. Do you have RoonServer.exe and related processes added as exceptions in the Windows Defender firewall?

  2. You mention you have a Backup destination. Do you have a recent reliable Backup? If you do have a Backup available, try to Browse for it in Roon Settings → Backups → Find Backups.

If that doesn’t help, but you do have a Backup available, try this:

  • Exit out of RoonServer
  • Navigate to your RoonServer’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Reinstall the RoonServer App from our Downloads Page to generate a new RoonServer folder
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Roon Server” and connect to the new database
  • Restore your Backup

Hi @Alfredo_Diaz,

I wanted to check in after the weekend. We can see a RoonServer with local files pinging our servers in diagnostics. Are you still encountering this problem after trying out the steps above?
