Description of Issue

My Roon Core continuously loses its connection to my Mac Mini when I’m listening to music. It will play fine for about 6-10 minutes without any interruption, but at some point it doesn’t show my Mac Mini as one of the Audio Zone options. In order for my Roon Core to rediscover my Mac Mini, I have to click on my mouse for the Mac Mini. This is a fairly new issue. Yes… I have my Mac Mini and my Dell set up not to go into Energy Saver mode.

Thanks for your assistance with fixing this issue.

Are you using the mini headless? If so have a look at these:

Settings > Displays > Advanced > Energy - prevent automatic sleeping when the display is off [YES]
Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off when inactive [never]

Rockhound,

I made the suggested adjustment to the display settings and that fixed my issue. Thanks so very much!
