Hi @Peter_Pollnow,

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report! To confirm, are you only having issues getting Arc to connect to your server?

As a good next step, could you please:

  1. safely stop Roon Server
  2. then reboot your mobile device, server machine, as well as router
  3. attempt to connect over the same home network

Do you experience the same issue? If so, please head to your Roon Settings > Roon Arc > and copy + paste the error code you see under ‘advanced’

Thank you! :folded_hands:

Hi @Peter_Pollnow,

We’ll need some clarifying information to take action on this report. Please see @benjamin’s response above at your convenience.

Some additional troubleshooting steps:

If you haven’t already, please ensure that RoonServer.exe, Roon.exe, RAATServer.exe, and RoonAppliance.exe are all added to the Windows Defender firewall safelist. This prevents Windows from severing Roon’s network connection, even between the GUI and the server on a single machine.

In the AX68U router’s settings adminstration page, look for any settings related to band steering and disable them.

If you’re able to hardwire this PC to the router via ethernet, we strongly recommend doing so. When the RoonServer is relying on WiFi, wireless interference can cause issues with device discovery and easily disrupt Roon’s uncompressed lossless transport protocols.

We’ll keep a lookout for your response.
