Description of Issue
I have been having a problem since the 1311 update where I start playing a track, whether from Qobuz or a local file in my library. It plays for a couple of seconds and then gets “Waiting for Roon Core” and the Roon Remote app loses connection. (Happens on Android, iPad tablets and Windows computer). When I connect to the Roon Web Interface, the System Status show that the Server software has restarted. After that, I am able to connect again via Roon Remote, but as soon as I start playing a track again, the issue repeats.
When this first occured, I had my Roon Core located in my audio rack with a long length of CAT6 cable from the router to the network switch at my rack, and the Roon Core connected to the switch. In troubleshooting the problem, I moved the Roon Core up to the router. I also have reworked the network settings on my router, setting up Static Leases on the Roon Core, the endpoint, and NAS. It is still managed via DHCP, however. This appeared to work for a few hours, however the problem recurred. I have also tried to isolate the network at the router, i.e., disconnecting ethernet runs to everything else but the Roon Core, NAS and the feed to the the audio system. Again, it did not fix the problem. I also bypassed the ethernet/optical bridge between the switch and the endpoint (serving as galvanic isolation), and it also did not fix the problem. I reinstalled the Roon OS via the Web Interface, and again, this did not help.
