The day before yesterday, it was working just fine.
Today, my system is unable to connect to Roon Core (ROCK), which doesn’t appear when scanning.
It says “choose another core server” then “waiting for Roon Core” and so on, see pics.
Thanks for helping !
Patrice
I’ve moved your post into the #support category of the forum, where it will be seen by the Support team.
Please give full details of your network hardware and setup.
It looks as though you are using a Roon Remote that is connected via WiFi to your home network. Is your Roon Core on a wired connection and in the same subnet as your Roon Remote?
Thanks.
Yes I’m using a remote (Iphone/Ipad) connected via Wifi, but the Core is connected via Ethernet.
And what about the subnet question? Are all devices in the same subnet?
Yes, all devices are on the same subnet.
The Core now does not appear anymore when I scan the network. That’s why I say “Core unreachable “.
I use a Roon core ROCK based on a NUC 7i7 , and a Kali Rasptouch operating on Ropieee.
Everything was running fine till yesterday.
Can you attach a monitor or TV to the ROCK/NUC’s HDMI connector and tell us (or post a photo) what messages you get when you reboot the device?
It says : “ The previous boot attempt failed. Would you like to restore Fastboot on the next boot ? (Y/N)”
How could I say Yes ?
Solved ! I connected a keyboard and typed Y, and it seems to work now.
Thank you very much, Geoff !
All the best,
Patrice
