Describe the issue

I sent an email on 09/09/25 to Roon, no response. Issue remains the same. When I upgraded to the latest Roon software, my Roon core will not load the main screen to listen to music. I click, " Connect", it says, "You're already signed in". I click "Get more authorizations", and cannot get in. It says, "To connect to the Roon Server you previously set up, just click go back above". Roon takes me to a Login page. I click, "Login", a webpage opens, I click my account (with email address listed), and it takes me back to "You're already signed in". Can you please help. This is an ongoing issue with Roon where it works great for a couple of months, sometimes longer, and then stops working. My subscription ends in June/2026, I'm considering going back to how I used to stream music - have Tidal mapped to my NAS, stream through my Aurender - it has never failed in years. I love the Roon product, but working 80-90 hours a week does not provide much time to troubleshoot the consistent issues Roon tends to cause. Thank you. - David

Describe your network setup

Verizon Fios/Ubiquiti UDM/Ubiquiti WAP's all wired on CAT 6/Mac Mini/Mac Studio/Mac iPad

My mistake, I was expecting updates in email. I logged in and saw that folks had responded. I clicked “unauthorize” and Roon is now working. Thank you for all your support. - David

Roon Servers often suffer from an identity confusion which leads to the symptoms that you are seeing.

The usual solution is to click on the ‘Unauthorize’ button that you can see in your screenshot above at which point you will be invited to login to your server again. After logging in, you Roon Server should start working again.

‘Unauthorize’ sounds serious but, in practice, it is a benign procedure. It does not affect the database on your Roon Server and is completely safe to do.

Thank you, I just searched for what “Unauthorize” means with Roon. I agree with you, it sounds serious which is why I was reluctant to click. And this issue tarted when I updated Roon’s latest software update. I have spent time designing routing tables in Cicso’s cloud environment, setting up VLAN’s, cybersecurity protection and find all easier to tend with then the complexity of Roon. I’m certain it’s me being a rube when it comes to Roon but I learn something new every time Roon stops working. Thank you, again!
