Hi @Peter_Galvin1,

So we can provide the team a better idea of what exactly is occurring during the crash, we are hoping you can provide the logs directly from the Mac. Please see the following steps:

Open Console.app (this is part of mac os x. You can command-spacebar and then type “console” to find it).

Then go into the “User Reports” section, and see if you can find any Roon crashes in there.

For any crashes, paste the contents into a text doc and then send that file over to use so we can take a look.

Can you send the last few of these in a text document? I’ll have the team take a look.

I’ve moved from the iMac (x86) as my core system to the SonicTransport - not sign of any crashes since then. I’d say that macos support is tier 2 compared to the more common ones (Windows, ROCK).

All of my other issues appear to be solved by moving off the Mac as well.

Not able to “heart” more than one track at once
Tidal and Qobuz frequent failures to load → require re-login to work
Tracks skipping frequently → requiring restart of Roon to be able to reliably play music

If Roon folks had told me that it would have saved me years of frustration and lots of $ in upgrades of various components to try to get Roon stable.

But at least it is (or seems to be so far) much more stable for me → finally enjoying Roon.
