Upon startup of Roon it immediately shuts

I have deleted the app and libraries and reinstalled
but either crashes before I have a chance to log out
or says a library problem. Help!

Hi @Joey_Sumpter,

The tech support team attempted to pull diagnostics from your account, but your Core is unable to reach our servers.

So we can move forward, I was hoping for now you could use the directions found here and send us over a set of logs using a shared Dropbox link.

The team will be here to support; I’ll be watching for your response.

just back from vacation, just uploaded both Roon and RAAT ServerLogs.

I am still waiting for a reply after all this time. Not Happy!

Hi @Joey_Sumpter,

We sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to your message above.

After reviewing your logs, the team noted several errors loading the graphical elements of the app, in addition to network errors connecting to one of your B&W endpoints.

Can you please confirm if you have the latest graphics card drivers installed on this Roon Core? Also, do you encounter this issue when you’re not any endpoints (System Output)?

If you have updated and that still did not help, we can try to reset the GUI aspect of the app. Please first create a Backup of your Roon database, then exit out of Roon and navigate to your Database Location
\Roon\Database\Registry\Client and delete any file that starts with GMS.

That should reset the interface part of Roon, please let me know if that helps!

If refreshing the GMS files didn’t work, you can try to refresh the entire Roon database:

  • Create a Backup of your current Roon database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename “Roon” to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall Roon from our Downloads Page
