Description of Issue

Roon keeps crashing on my iMac. Music stops playing. I go into the ‘activity log’ and quit ‘Roon Audience’. It then automatically restarts Roon Audience and then it works again for awhile but then crashes again. Several times a day. Pretty sure it has to do with the fact that after awhile Audience appears to be using excessive CPU time/percentage. For example it can be utilizing 300% of CPU capacity.

Is this a software error that can be corrected by reinstalling Roon?

Do you mean Appliance?

I would try rebooting the server first before doing uninstalling anything.

Yes, sorry. Roon ‘Appliance’. There is also Roon ‘Server’ on the Activity Log, but that one seems less problematic.

So your suggestion is to re-install? How exactly do I go about that, and is this a known problem?

Fellow user here. Did you try rebooting the pcnrunning the core?

Yes many times. Has not solved the issue as of yet.
