Networking Gear & Setup Details
Netgear switch then via Netgear Orbi Router to Synology 1815+ NAS. Sometimes use a VPN (Part of the ‘TotalAV’ suite), but not the problem happens whether I am or not.
Connected Audio Devices
dCS Rossini Player;
This is connected via ethernet cable to the same network switch as the nuc.
ipad (8th gen) - connected via wifi through Orbi mesh wifi network.
Number of Tracks in Library
It is very large - if I remember at the last count, over 40,000 tracks.
Description of Issue
A track will be playing, then will crash mid-track. Just have ‘shimmering’ Roon logo. The often it asks if I wish to select a different core.
Can take 5-10 mins to come back. This then repeats.
Have tried the ‘1169’ fix as instructed.
Try to select a track/album - Roon crashes.
System is indicating new albums are being imported, but no new ones appear in the list on the Home page; nor does the count change.
Can run dCS Mosaic software and play from my NAS, so the router/switch/network seem ok.
Very frustrating, as Roon is unusable at present.
Recently, when I start Roon there are zero tracks in the library. Only if I switch the nuc off then on, does it detect them.
