I use Roon primarily from my laptop at home, but now that I have ARC up and running I’m immediately thinking what a horde of other users have probably already asked, but… Couldn’t the desktop app connect to my server in the same way ARC does from my phone so that when I’m away, I can just switch modes from ‘connected-to-server’ to ‘connected-to-server-via-ARC-connector’ or similar and carry on using the desktop app with whatever available outputs/endpoints?
ARC is great, no doubt, but almost feels like it could be rolled into the already existing apps?
(Now please point me to the 1500 articles already raising this!)
