Describe the issue

Roon server is running on my windows 11 pc but none of my roon devices can connect to it to run roon. I have roon on my pc, ipad and android phone and none can connect. Arc on my phone says it has not seen roon server in 13 days. That may have been when your last update was installed. Solutions?

Next steps - I reinstalled roon according to your help directions by closing roon server, renaming the roon folder and downloading a fresh copy of roon. I still have the login loop issue and cannot connect. What’s next?

What login loop? This is the first time you mention a loop – what exactly is your issue?

Note: You can post screenshots here to show your issue.

Just the logo with the flashing dashes when trying to connect to the server. Same issue as previous last February where a fresh install fixed the issue. That did not work this time. Seems to have occurred around the time of the last software update.

Isn’t there some message showing up after some time that allows you to look for “other” servers to connect too? Please choose that option and see if there is something showing up. If no server is showing, please check if Roon Server is running.

You may have to click on the chevron too see Roon.

Note: Roon might complain about licenses, if so please unauthorize and then choose the server you want to connect to.

No other message, it just spins forever. Roon server is running as your ss shows. shows ready per the snapshot below. When I hit connect it just shows the flashing logo and never connects. I can’t get to the login.

Thank you for the additional information you provided about your issue, I think it is now clearer. Sadly I have no next step right now other than to wait until official support chimes in. Maybe some other user has a tip for you sooner.

Hi @Robert_Graeter ,

Just to confirm, you also set aside your Roon + RoonServer database as you did in the last post? I would give these a try in case you only did a normal reinstall and not a database reinstall. Please ensure that you also rename the old Roon folder, as this may have been an issue with migrating from previous Roon types with an All-in-one app to RoonServer + Roon UI being two different apps.

OK, a complete reinstall of roon and roon server worked to get roon running again. I also had to reinstall roon arc to get that working on my cell phone. Good thing I had a data base backup to get my history and settings back.
