Roon does not connect music files on my computer

After I last updated Roon, Roon couldn’t connect to music files on my notebook computer, Roon couldn’t find my audio device and didn’t connect to the tidal I was a member of.

I uninstalled Roon and reinstalled it and signed in with my account, doing this several times but it still doesn’t work.

How do I need to fix the following issues?

Thank you

Hi @Sirichol_Siricharean ,

Welcome to the forum and apologies for the slow response here. Are you still seeing the issue at the present time on your notebook? If so, I would suggest reinstalling Roon and removing the previous database on the computer, I have provided instructions on how to achieve this below:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Exit out of Roon
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location (on the PC under %localappdata%)
  • Find the folder that says “Roon”
  • Rename the “Roon” folder to “Roon_old”
  • Reinstall the Roon App from our Downloads Page to generate a new Roon folder
  • Configure fresh install as new, restore backup, or connect to existing server

Do let us know if this helps!
