Connected Audio Devices

Hifi Rose rs150b, software version 4.15.12, tried to connect it over the network, I already checked that both devices are in the same network, however the RS 150 does not appear in the list of Roon-ready devices, downstream I have an external DAC (Denafrips Terminator plus 12th connected via i2S)

Home Network Details

the Roon server is connected via Ethernet also the RS 150b using the same switch, router FRIZZ Box 7490, cables Audioquest cinnamon, switch: Silent Angel N8

Are you in a position to try connecting both the Roon server and the RS150B directly to the fritz box router using standard CAT6(a) ethernet cables.

If, so do this to pare the network down to the minimum possible.

If this works, try re-introducing the Silent Angel switch (using standard CAT6 cables).

If this still works try re-introducing the Audioquest Cinnamon ethernet cables one at a time.

This procedure will likely give an insight into where the problem lay.

If it does not, and you end up with your original setup but now working, then it is likely that there was a bad ethernet connection somewhere that has been fixed by reseating the ethernet cables.
