Description of Issue

Hello again.

Today I have a more serious Roon problem.

In Qubuz and most of mye own files on a harddisk, Roon does not play. When I start, this message show: “too many errors. Stopped playing”.

The funny thing is that in Tidal, all works perfekt.

I have deleted the app on the Mac and installed it again, but that did not help.

What can I do?

I would like to add that everything works fine with ARC.

Please add the details of your network hardware and setup to your support request. And how is the Denon connected in Roon? Are you using an HDMI connection, or a network connection (wired or wifi) using Airplay?

Full information makes diagnosis easier. Thank you.

Macbook air with HMDI. Wifi, with very high speed (around 500Mps)

So the Roon Core is on a MacBook Air, and this is connected via wifi to the internet? And you use the HDMI connection on the MacBook to connect to the Denon?

Roon Labs strongly advise that a Roon Core have a wired connection to your network.

However, you are saying that you are getting errors even with your local files - and these are on the MacBook’s harddisk?

And when you say Tidal files are OK - you mean playing Tidal files via Roon?

Please can you confirm the above points to give some more information about your issue. Thanks.

Hey @Knut_Kirkesaether,

Ben with the support team here, thanks for writing in!

I’d be curious to see the additional information @Geoff_Coupe has requested above, if you’re still having playback issues on your Macbook Air!

Please reproduce the issue and share a specific date and time, as well as the name of the track when the issue occurs. Thanks!
