Core Machine (Operating system/System info/Roon build number)
Roon on a Qnap TS-251+ NAS and this has been working for almost a year.
Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Description Of Issue
Good day, I have problems with Roon and Tidal, Tidal does not play anymore.
I can see the albums that are in Tidal in Roon and can also click.
If I want to play a track, I keep getting the message
“nothing is being played”
I reinstalled the NAS and checked the connections, IP address is correct, DNS server changed to Google DNS server 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 which also doesn’t work.
I can play Roon Live Radio and music that is on a USB stick connected to the NAS play with Roon is working.
I then installed the Roon core on a laptop and everything works properly over the same network as the NAS is connected to.
I did clean the cache directory.
Tidal does play with their own app on all available devices.
Is the problem now Roon, QNAP or Tidal?
Please help.
