Describe the issue

I have a Vizio D24f-J09 TV with ChromeCast built in, and I want to use it to display ROON Now Playing. I've got it connected to the same local network as my Roon server, but its not showing up as a display in Roon display settings

Describe your network setup

Internet provider is Frontier. Router is eero mesh wifi system. Internet comes into my listening room via an eero extender, and I run ethernet out of the eero extender into my Roon core.

Thank you for contacting Roon Support.

Could you please fully restart all related devices, including your Roon Server, router, network equipment, and your Vizio D24f-J09 TV? For the TV, we recommend unplugging it from power, waiting about 5 minutes, and then plugging it back in to ensure a full reset.

Additionally, could you share the following information with us:

• A screenshot of Roon → Settings → Audio → Devices
• A screenshot of your TV’s network settings (IP address, connection type, etc.)

This will help us better understand the setup and assist you further.

After rebooting everything, it now works. Roon displays as expected on the Vizio screen. Thanks for your help!
