Description of Issue

This morning when I went to use Roon (it is nearly always running), it only showed live radio.

I did this:

Restarted roon: It hung on the initialization screen

renamed Roon to Roon_20210830 and restarted: It started and logged into my services (Tidal/Qobuz) but still did not show any show services on menu at left and could not find any of my devices

Note: Network is working fine: I get around 700Mb/second with OOKLA SpeedTest

Rebooted; Restarted Roon: Hung on initialization

For all of the tests (after first reboot) Roon was the only thing running (other than core background processes and BitDefender)

Hi @Mark_Ainsworth, please use the directions found here and send us over a set of logs using a shared Dropbox link (or any other file sharing service). Thanks!

Here is a link to my roon logs: Roon Logs for Mark Ainsworth (240.9638.mark@gmail.com) Mobile: 810-240-9638

Thanks, @Mark_Ainsworth. Can you please try this:

  • Exit out of Roon/Roon Server
  • Navigate to your Roon Database Location - Database\Registry\Core
  • Locate your tidal_account file and delete it
  • Try to start Roon again
