Today i found out that Roon server doesn’t support DSD256 tracks on my Moon 280D Mind 2 . DSD128 files work fine but when I try to play DSD 256 (which of course is supported by the Moon and the Moon appon my Ipad) the player shuts down after 30 to 50 seconds.
@Jon_Spijker, I’ve moved your post to #support. However, to receive appropriate help, it would be really helpful if you could complete the template provided below. Please be sure to include details of your core, network, storage location of your media files, and any messages displayed by Roon.
Moreover, please explain how your core and DAC are connected, and share the signal path. Thank you.

Description of Issue
Today i found out that Roon my server doesn’t support my DSD256 tracks on the Moon 280D Mind 2 . DSD128 files work fine but when I try to play DSD 256 (which of course is supported by the Moon and the Moon app on my Ipad) the player does not respond anymore after 30 to 50 seconds.
I this a software problem? Is there a solution? Is something wrong in my setup?
I have 2 280D’s and have had sporadic issues with DSD256 on both. They have always been resolved with a hard reboot. This means actually switching off the hard power switch on the back of the unit and waiting for at least a minute before switching it back on. (10 seconds is not long enough, I found out the hard way)
Also, as suggested above, make sure your firmware is up to date. And yes, you have to do the power switch reboot after firmware updates.

I’d be very interested to see processing speed in dsd128 and then the dsd256 it falls down on.
You might just get away with 1.2x but that’s pushing danger zone territory.
