Roon does not support Pioneer XDP300R physical media control buttons

Hi,

I can not use my Pioneer XDP 300R physical button for oause/play and next/previous. It works for all other music apps.

Is it some kind of bug or missing feature?

Moving forward, while I can not make any promises, I can certainly have our tech team look into this behavior with the XDP 300R to see if we can do better here. In light of this may I very kindly ask you to please perform the following:

  • Please press each of the “physical buttons” on the device (“play/pause”, “next”, and “previous”) three times each. Noting the time of day when the action is performed.

    Example:

    • The “play/pause” button was pressed three times @ 3:00pm
    • The “next” button was pressed three times @ 3:05pm
    • The “previous” button was pressed three times @ 3:10pm

Once I have a sense of the mentioned time frames above I am going to go ahead and enable diagnostics on your account. What this action will do is the next time the application is active on your core machine and the XDP 300R a diagnostics report containing a set of your Roon logs will automatically be generated/uploaded directly to our severs.
