Description Of Issue

Roon says there is an update available and asks me to restart. I click Yes/Restart. Roon shuts down and nothing happens. I manually restart Roon after a few minutes and it is still the old version and it asks to update… again and again.

I went to settings “About”. Saw a new update available, waited for it to completely download and click restart. See above.

I changed settings to update automatically. Same thing.
Only way to update is to download from your website and install myself over old version.

How do I get autoupdate to work?!

Thanks, Wouter

Hello @Wouter_de_Monye, welcome to the community! Could you send me a screenshot of the update message you’re seeing? Also, I’d like you to try:

  1. Rebooting your Mac
  2. Temporarily disable your firewall/antivirus/VPN and see if you can get the update

Let me know what happens!
