Description of Issue

Until the day before yesterday, everything was working perfectly.

Yesterday, Roon no longer recognizes this external SSD and displays the message:

Error loading folder - Unauthorized.

However, the SSD has all the necessary access permissions!

I then deleted and reinstalled Roon, and everything worked again. The drive was re-scanned, and all albums could be played.

This morning, after turning on the computer, the same issue occurred again: :frowning:

Error loading folder - Unauthorized.

What can I do?
I would be very grateful for any advice.

Hello @Hubertus_Duwensee ,

Thanks for reaching out. Can you please confirm how the SSD is formatted, is it using MacOS Journaled file system?

Can you try to navigate to your Mac System Preferences → Privacy & Security → Files and Folders, and then check that Roon and/or RoonServer have access to your removable volumes.

If they don’t, turn it on. If they do, try toggling the setting to off, then on again. Then restart Roon and/or RoonServer.
